Mark Hiraide is an authority on crowdfunding and the federal JOBS Act (http://1.usa.gov/VpQHLw). At the invitation of U.S. Senate Committee Chairman Jack Reed (D-RI), Mr. Hiraide testified before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs' Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance and Investment at a hearing titled "Examining Investor Risks in Capital Raising" (http://1.usa.gov/1kwtNgu). In California, Mr. Hiraide is working to enact a state crowdfunding law.
